Created by the SIGNIS-Cinéma association, the Prix Croire au cinéma (Believe in Cinema Award) is awarded each year to a film that illustrates human, spiritual, and universal values, including peace, justice, solidarity with the most vulnerable, respect for human dignity, and environmental protection.
Pope Leo XIV declared last November before professionals of the 7th art, “cinema sets hope in motion.” A source of light in the darkness, it illuminates the complexity of the human heart, allowing us to contemplate the greatness of life and the beauty of the world. By stimulating the senses and the imagination, it opens the eyes of those who seek meaning and truth.
