SIGNIS Philippines has joined forces with Communication Foundation for Asia (CFA) for the inaugural Cybermission Congress, named SYNERGY, journey together through the digital world. Scheduled to take place from February 21 to 23, 2024, at a CFA in Manila, this Congress aims to empower Church workers with insights and discussions on leveraging modern communication and technology.
The 3-day event will delve into topics such as navigating the digital landscape and cultivating cyber leadership, evangelization, and missionary efforts through artificial intelligence and digital platforms.
Spearheaded by the Church Media Empowerment Desk of CFA and bolstered by the support of the US Catholic Bishops’ Conference, the 1st Cybermission Congress is set to feature lectures and discussions designed to equip participants with the necessary tools for effective engagement in the digital age.
In line with the SIGNIS mandate 2022-2026, to engage youth in the world of communications and give them opportunities to share their interests and potential, SIGNIS Philippines will sponsor ten young individuals eager to utilize communication for evangelization.
