January 20, 2021 (SIGNIS Caribbean). SIGNIS Caribbean is currently offering a comprehensive training programme to the Antilles Episcopal Conference (AEC) region, aiming to assist communication growth in the region.
The Association first launched the Communication for the Antilles Specialist Training (CAST) last year. After the success of its pilot programme in Trinidad (January–August 2020), the programme was restructured as a virtual course. A comprehensive curriculum in each training area was outlined and developed by lead facilitators, including audio, print and video production.
The CAST programme began in January 2021 and will run for three consecutive years allowing for the participation of all 18 dioceses of the AEC. The idea is to create production resource pools to assist in communication growth in the region.
The CAST class of 2021 includes twenty-eight participants, six Archdioceses and dioceses, and five areas of communication.
