The Youth Associates program will provide participants with invaluable opportunities to learn from industry experts and gain hands-on experience in various media fields. The goal is to foster a new generation of media professionals who are committed to using their platforms to create positive change in society.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome these bright and passionate young people into our SIGNIS family,” said Pie Mabanta-Fenomeno, President of SIGNIS Philippines. “Their diverse backgrounds and perspectives will enrich our organization and contribute to our mission of promoting ethical and responsible media practices.”

The 13 young associates were part of the recently concluded Cybermissionary Congress which focused on equipping Pastoral communicators with the skill to navigate the digital landscape.

The first cohort of Youth Associates will begin their training and mentorship in April and will be given a chance to organize their own programs for the different SIGNIS Desks.

The 1st Cybermission Congress was supported by the US Catholic Bishops Conference and Signis Philippines and organized by Communication Foundation for Asia.
