SIGNIS ALC Elects New Board of Directors for 2022-2026

(SIGNIS ALC). The Latin American and Caribbean Catholic Communication Association elected a new Board of Directors for 2022-2026 at the Ordinary Assembly held on July 15-16 in Panama City. Argentinean communicator Carlos Ferraro was re-elected as President, while Chilean film critic Alejandro Caro was elected as Vice-President.

The other members of the newly elected Board are Marjorie Reffray (Peru), Naivi Frias (Dominican Republic), Alessandro Gomes (Brazil), and Alexander Dávila (Ecuador).

Manuel Rodríguez (Cuba), Beatriz González (Mexico), Omar Bogado (Paraguay), Lauren Branker (Trinidad and Tobago), Víctor Fernández (Costa Rica), and Fr Néstor Briceño (Venezuela) were elected as substitutes.

Among the priorities of the new Board of Directors are strengthening the role of SIGNIS ALC Joven and Radio Lío in national partnerships and supporting communication projects that focus on integral ecology, educommunication and a culture of peace.
