The Diocese of Belize City & Belmopan inaugurated in 2023 its first Diocesan Pastoral Communications Center, powered by the latest information and communication technology and spaces to welcome media enthusiasts from all over the country.
For Nora Arana, Youth Coordinator at the Diocese, “the communications center is the perfect bridge and tool to walk across toward young people and pull them in”. Indeed, Mr. Ruben Wong, Chair of Media and Communications at the Diocese, believes the work of this center goes “beyond being heard. It’s about coming from God, letting him guide us and reaching out to the less fortunate, to those crying for help”.
